Econans is a Fintech company based in Gothenburg offering simulation and automated advice solutions within sustainable homes and personal finance. Our mission is to make personal finances more fun and easier to understand using innovative digital services. Our solutions have more than half a million users monthly in Sweden and we have now started to expand all over Europe. As Lead Software Architect at Econans, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of the team. The role offers a great opportunity to have a big impact on everything from system architecture to creative processes. We are looking for a person with a senior developer background who is comfortable taking on a leading role.

What you will bring along:

  • University degree in Software Engineering or similar.
  • You have at least 5 years of work experience as a software developer working with backend architecture.
  • You work in a structured and systematic way.
  • You can reason about complex software architectures, and understand the trade-offs, and the dynamics between its components.
  • Love to learn new technologies.
  • Strong communication skills
  • You are interested in personal finances and/or sustainable homes.
  • You are fluent in English at a professional level.

What would be great in addition:

  • Experience in DevOps.
  • Working for a start/scale-up.
